Mr. Epstein concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate Law, Corporate Law and Environmental Law.

Real Estate Law

• Extensive experience representing commercial and residential real estate developers, multi-family developers, lenders and brokers.
• Represents companies and individuals in connection with property acquisition, leasing, exchange and disposition, rezoning, development, financing, and construction matters.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial loan documents, leases, residential and commercial sale contracts, easements, condominium documents, and subdivision indentures.
• Represents clients regarding real estate development issues, multi-party development agreements, condemnation, tax increment financing, TDD’s; CID’s; sales tax rebates, HUD-insured mortgage financing, and bond financing matters.
• Chairs Firm’s Real Estate Department.

Corporate Law

• Represents clients in connection with stock and asset acquisition and disposition transactions, and corporate restructurings.
• Provides legal advice to entrepreneurial investment groups and automobile dealerships.
• Represents borrowers and lenders in connection with financing transactions.

Environmental Law

• Extensive experience regarding the acquisition and sale of solid waste companies and the issuance of permits for the solid waste business.
• Provides legal work for a number of the largest, publicly held solid waste companies in North America relating to land acquisition, zoning, site development and permitting of landfills and transfer stations.
• Handles regulatory compliance matters.

Licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois

Admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Divisions of Missouri, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
