Mr.Shifrin concentrates his practice in the area of Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Transactions.

Mr. Shifrin is a business and corporate lawyer with over 50 years of experience as an attorney and counselor to a wide variety of public and privately held enterprises and trade associations, ranging from unemployment compensation specialists to a national chain of department stores.  He is presently “Of Counsel” to the firm.  He has extensive experience in the negotiation and preparation of acquisition agreements and related documents, for both buyers and sellers, and has handled the purchase of numerous business operations, from an off-shore oil storage facility to two ski resorts.

Mr. Shifrin is licensed to practice law in Missouri and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Shifrin has served on the Board of Directors of a variety of corporations, both public and private, and numerous charitable organizations.  He is a former member of the Board and officer of Jewish Family and Children’s Service of St. Louis, Jewish Hospital of St. Louis (now Barnes-Jewish Hospital), Jewish Federation of St. Louis, a former member of the Board of Washington University and Affiliated Hospitals and Independence Center.  He currently serves on the Board and as an officer of the Leader Foundation.
