Mr. Breckenridge concentrates his practice in the areas of insurance and commercial civil litigation. He presently chairs the Insurance Practice Group, and is past chair of the Litigation Department.

Commercial/Product Liability Litigation

Mr. Breckenridge has been involved in various types of commercial litigation cases, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. His experience includes prosecution and defense of contract disputes, prosecution and defense of trademark/copyright/trade secret disputes, defense of property damage claims, prosecution of claims against governmental agencies, pharmacy benefit management disputes, and defense of all types of product liability claims.

Insurance Litigation

Mr. Breckenridge has represented numerous insurance companies and insureds in a broad range of insurance litigation matters, including coverage, health, life/annuity, disability, malpractice, errors and omissions, directors and officers and title.

Mr. Breckenridge has appeared before Missouri, California and Illinois trial and appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California, the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, and the Fifth, Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
